Imported Accounts Missing

I just signed up for a hosted SugarCRM open-source account. I tried to import my accounts (about 2100 of them) and the import seemed to work fine. But, they do not appear in the accounts module which says there are 0 records. However I do see them in the admin account's Home module and can view them there. The same thing happens when I manually create an account. Any ideas as to why the accounts aren't recognized by the accounts module?

I'm using hosted SugarCRM open-source (Version 4.5.1d) so I don't have control of the database back end.

It kind of sounds like the assigned to user is either not populated or it is set to the admin user and roles have been applied.

Doubled check the assigned to value of the accounts while logged in as admin. Make sure it reflects the name of one of your users.
