Importing Act! Windows/Mac to Sugar

I have two separate companies interested in switching from Act! to Sugar. One is using Act! for Windows and the other is running Macintosh. I have found some documentation regarding Act! for Windows and wonder if anyone has further advice as well as any experience porting Mac Act! to Sugar.

Hi. I am importing the contacts and accounts out of ACT! for windows. I have already done this, and had to use a tool that you can get (info is in sugar forge - look up act import tool.) The software you have to get is $250. If you want to save some cash, I can convert it for ya (small cost to make up license fee I paid), and send the databases back.. you use Access to take the info out of the files and the import tool has querys which you can edit to get the info the way you want it, or just get the basic info..

Where you located? I'm in Michigan.
This is such a pain, and I can't believe that no one has bothered to create a nice all inclusive tool for doing this..

would prefer to not do this over the forums. You can reach me at jonreinbold(at)comcast(dot)net. Obviously size would make a difference, so if you know about how many contacts they have, then I could send you a quote, and give you more contact info via email.. (or phone)..
