Importing activities from one instance to another

Hi,

i´m importing activities from one SUgar CRM to another and getting problems with connecting the activities (calls and meetings) to the related contacts. The parent type is Accounts but how do i connect them to the connected contacts during the import? the avaiable fields in the import are not contact ID´s or something like this. Do i need to do this in the database?(need to ask my database admin)

You need to create an extended vardefs to setup attribute "importable" as true in contact_id and contact_name for both modules.

thanks for this info but can i do it in Sugar or do i need to ask my Database admin to fix this. sound complicated
