Importing Contacts

I'm in the process of importing some contacts into the CRM and after i mapped all of the database filed, i went to hit the import button and nothing happens at all. Wondering if theres something i need to update to make this feature work...if anyone has any insight on this issue, it would be great...thx FYI im using version 5.2
