Importing from CSV file does not work for Contacts.

Hello.

I have searched for the issue I’m facing on the forum, but could not find any answer, so sorry if I will repeat any. If there is an answer available please give me a link.

My issue is following:

When I try to import contacts from CSV file I get the following message with Import Results header:

Success:
0 Succesfully Imported
0 records skipped because the id's either existed or where longer than 36 characters
3 records skipped because they were missing one or more required fields

All the fields are shaped and identified properly, 3 others that do not import, are not required. When I import Account information or Leads sugar imports all records from the same file (different fields chosen), correctly, but 1) it does not let me to import contacts.

Some of the fields that are chosen to be imported empty as well as some of the required fields. Can this cause any problems?

That's a simple one!

The excel database fields/cells may not be empty. You have to fill out all the empty fields in excel with some kind of data example: "not available" or "N/A".

When all empty cells are filled out, convert it to a csv file.

import 1 2 3 4 - and you're dunno.
