Importing information from an Excel sheet.

I am trying to input information from an Excel sheet into the Leads section of our Sugar CRM system.

I have 2 colums in the Excel sheet - one for a user ID and one for a team ID.

Can anyone tell me how I can get a list of these ID's for the users and teams within our system ?

Are you using the Pro or Ent version of SugarCRM? Those are the only ones with Teams built in. TeamsOS available on sugarforge adds limited teams ability to the OS version but I am not sure you can import into TeamsOS.

We are using the Pro version. I've been told I can get the ID's for the users and teams if I export the table data from the GUI.

Anything you can suggest would help.

Hi,

Exporting the Users to Excel will give you the ID's and the default team, but to get the full team and team membership information, you need to export the data from teams and team_membership with a tool like phpmyadmin
