Default Importing into accounts (custom fields involed)

I am trying to IMPORT accounts from a tab delimited file.

The majority of the data is getting imported, except for the Custom Fields that are drop downs.
I have matched the Value of the dropdown item with whats in the tabbed file, but no luck.

Also, where do you check in sugar to see what version of the application you are running?

Did anyone have a solution to this? Or is this yet another deficiency concerning the module builder and personal customisations?

I'm having the same issue.... i have some data that im trying to import into my custom drop downs and it either creates duplicate records or doesn't import at all. i have also tried using navicat for mysql to try to force them into the database.

so i have a salesmen drop down and i have a a csv with company name and salesmen... all i want to do is mass update the dropdowns.... it doesn't seem like it should be that hard to pull off.

    anyone else have any advice?

    Hi Superman

Click in the link "About" at the top right corner of screen.
Can you provide a file containing a few lines to be imported?

    Cheers
