Default Importing into custom child module

    Hi there-

I haven't located a thread that addresses this for 5.2, so I'm throwing it out there.

I created a custom module as a child to contacts called groups. It represents committees where contacts have membership.

I can import contacts into contacts just fine with standard Sugar. I can import group name/details by importing into the custom module.

How do I import the relationship between contacts and groups? My thought is that the Group ID needs to be on the Contact import so I can establish the relationship between Contact ID and Group ID. Is that correct? If so, how do I do that?

export your contacts. this will export with the contact id. then you have a manual job of associating the group with the contact.

Once you have completed that, then import into group using the contact id.
