importing layout and fields from custom module

Hi

Is there any way to import the fields and layouts from a custom module in to the standard contacts module?

This is on Suger 5.51

The layout could be easialy imported using the files under custom/modules/module_name/metadata.

But the fields, if they were created from studio its is a hard task, once this fields are define into database.
If you created the fields using Extantion, then it will be simpler task.

Hi

Thanks for the response, some fields were created in Studio as they were added after the custom module was finished. I guess I will have to do it manually which will be fun!
