Importing Member Organization Accounts

Hello,

I am using SugarCRM 5.2.0l build 5843 -- I cannot upgrade at this time.

I am importing Accounts, and need to know how to import Accounts as Members of other Accounts.

I have not been able to find any documentation on this. Can anyone direct me to the documentation, or tell me how this can be done -- or even IF it can be done?

I have learned that I can export files and associate the member accounts by mapping the SugarCRM ID to the Parent_ID field. However, this is problematic for me at this time, because the search does not return all accounts from, say, a given State (custom field), and therefore I cannot export them.

Is there a way to use the Member of (or parent_name) field to associate member accounts with their parent upon import?
