I hare been doing some research and it seems that I have stumbled into somewhat of a brick wall.
I am looking for ideas and/or examples/tutorials on how people have done this in the past.
I have been able to get my accounts, users, and contacts into the Sugar Community version without a problem, it was quite easy.
So far I am enjoying the application and UI.
I am really doing this as a stealth project to show upper management that there is an ALTERNATIVE to Salesforce, one that could save us a TON of money, no matter which version that we go with.
I know that the paid version - professional and enterprise have a lot more features than the community version, but this is what I have to deal with now.
I have been searching Sugarforge to see if I could find a soultion to add products, a pricebook, and tie them to opportunities like you can do in Salesforce.
Has anyone been able to get the salesforce product data into Sugar Community version? If so, how did you do it? What module did you use?
I know that the professional version has what I am looking for and that I could sign up for a free trial, but 30 days is just not enough time to get it moved to show upper management all the bells and whistles
Anyway any help would be appreciated
Thanks,
Mike Simonds
