Default Importing Unix timestamp in to Leads

Hello, I am struggling to import from an existing table field which has a Unix timestamp in to the leads table. I have tried multiple combinations of the built in 'Date Created' & 'Date Modified'.
If I ignore this field to import all the other fields import successfully. When I try to import it, none of the records import. I have created a new 'DateTime' field in Leads, but still no success. The error log returns

    Invalid datetime LBL_FIRST_CONTACT (first_contact_c) 1250051178 1

    I am using Version 6.1.1 (Build 5512)

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Sandy

    Hello,

Have you had a look at Advance Options? Date fields must be same than user format as far as I remember.
    Thumbs up.

    Hello David,
Thanks for coming back to me. I have tried a combination of the date time options in 'Advanced' without success.
The lower end of the drop down box options which have the formats as below returned some positive results..

    2010.12.23 - 2 records created successfully
    23.12.2010 - 37 records created successfully
    12.23.2010 - 37 records created successfully

However the time displayed was the Unix start time of '12.31.1969 19:00' rather than what was on the csv file.

By the way, thanks for your excellent post on 'Can not save meetings' . I downloaded the files and it all worked perfectly.

    Hello,

Can you post the file you are trying to import and the date time format of the user with which you are trying to import?
    Thumbs up.

    Hello David
I've cut out a small section and uploaded it. All the other fields in the file upload perfectly in to the correct corresponding fields, if I ignore to import the field names 'tstamp' . I have had to convert the file to .txt as the upload feature here will not accept .csv
Thanks for taking the time to look.

    Given up

I tried to working within MySql to import and display it correctly and nothing seems to work.

In the end, created another field and used the SQL function FROM_UNIXTIME to convert the data and place it in the field. Not an ideal solution, but it reads as it should on the webpages
