Imports Not Working

Hello everyone. I am trying to import a list of accounts and the dots will move then stop. The import always hangs at 9 entries then it stops. Can someone help me with this issue? The database I am trying to import is a CSV and only has about 100 companies in it.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I am using 1&1 hosting
Sugar 5.0.0f
PHP 5 and MySQL 5

It sounds like maybe there is a special character in your csv that is causing the import to stop.

Thanks for the response. Could a period in the email do it? That is the only special character in the listing that it is getting hung on. The email address is modeled like:

first.last@company.com

Hi John,

If you remove one of the first nine entries to be imported, does your import stop at record 8?

(In other words, is it the data in that row that's causing the import to choke?)

I removed a row as you suggested (Row 3) and it how hangs at importing 8 records. I believe this confirms that it is the ninth record that is causing it. As I stated previously, the only special character is in the email address.
