Impossible to import contacts - pb on 'salutation'

Hello,

I have a problem when I try to import my contacts (6500) in SugarCRM. I'm using the French version.

I import a file in which the salutations are M., Mme, Melle, or where the field is empty. These values correspond to the values allowed in Sugar.

Problem: when I import these data, only the 28 contacts in which the salutation is empty are created, and the remaining ones are rejected...
In the error file at the end of the import (error_1.csv), I have almost 6500 lignes of that kind:
Clé absente dans la liste. Les valeurs possibles sont: ,M.,Mlle,Mme,Dr.,Prof.,"LBL_SALUTATION (salutation)",M.,1

(which means)
Key absent from the list. The possible values are ,M.,Mlle,Mme,Dr.,Prof.,"LBL_SALUTATION (salutation)",M.,1

It seems to be a bug in Sugar translation... I saw this thread on the forum: http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/showt...ght=salutation but the only solution seemed to translate the salutations into English before importing... Do you know if this bug was fixed?

Hello,

I got an answer for the above problem: before the 5.0.2b version, you have to use the 'key' (not the 'label') of the field to import it. Then I have to translate my French salutations (M., Mme, Melle) into English (Mr., Mrs., Ms.) before importing my contact data.

Now I have another problem...

I created 2 fields in Sugar : the hierarchical level and the departement of the contact. They are created as 'dropdown lists'.

When I try to import my contacts file (around 6500 contacts), the import fails, and I get a big error message on the import page, containing lines of this kind:

Do you know what this means? I went to look at those php files, but I didn't understand what the problem was.

- I tried the import without my 2 added fiels, and it works.
- I tried the import without 1 of the 2 fields (one after the other), and it fails each time...

Do you know how I can make the import work?
