My config :
Sugar Version (e.g. 6.1.0.CR2)
Sugar Edition (Sugar Community Edition)
Category (Inbound email)
Operating System (Linux)
PHP Version (5.2.9)
Database (MySQL 5.0.91-community)
Web Server (Apache 2.2.16)
My problem : I can’t configure an Inbound Email Account
Anytime I enter the correct settings for my imap GMAIL account and hit the « test setting »
The test loads for a long time then I get the error code :
« Exception occured : communication failure … » and then it’s impossible to do anything and I have to restart the webbrowser to regain acces to sugarcrm.
Sending email works just fine ! (with the same GMAIL account)
If I take a look at my Cpanel/ Error Registery I get a all bunch of records of this kind :

I was using Sugar CRM CE 5. before and everything was ok then.
Something strange is that When I upgraded from sugar CE 5 to sugar CRM CE 6.0.3, I’ve been able to create an Inbound email account an manage my emails for a few days and then it stoped. I asked my sysadmin if they did change something, but apparently they didn’t.
Yesterday, I’ve upgrated from sugar CE 6.0.3 to sugar CE 6.1.0CR2 hoping that a « possible bug » could be fixed, but nothing changed.
I've read a lot of thread on this subject, but can't find a solution. Can someone help me ?
