Default IMAP c-client libraries enabled: Bug in Linux Cent OS 64 bit.

    Hi there!

At the Inbound Email settings it appears this warning:
Inbound Email cannot function without the IMAP c-client libraries enabled/compiled with the PHP module. Please contact your administrator to resolve this issue.
As a result of this, I cannot monitor no inboxes...

I´ve talked to my administrator and told me that

PHP is not compiled within the IMAP module, and we cannot do it because the compilation fails.
It is a known issue in Linux Cent OS of 64 bits.
Please try to use an alternative for now, as SMTP/POP3

Is there something that I can do to solve this issue?

    Thanks in advance guys!!

If there´s no chance to make IMAP work that way in my server... I´ve talked to them again.

So, should I assume there´s no way to make this version of Sugar work? Which one should I use in that case?

    Thanks in advance!

    Anyone?

I´ve reinstalled the whole package od Sugar, now the 4.0.1f version.
It appers a little warning aimilar to the other one about IMAP, but it doesn´t say that the Email cannot run without it...

    Hi Rosamunda,

I do not know of any alternative solutions. I have never not been able to either recompile PHP myself or get my hosts o do it for me. I would go back to your admin and make sure that they understand exactly what it is that you need doing. Depending on how important Sugar is for your company you could suggest changing the version of PHP or getting Sugar hostet on a different server.

    Sorry I can't help more.
