Inbound Email Create Lead

Can anyone tell me how to create a new lead from a inbound email address?

I have it working off of our support email that a new case is created. Now I want all emails sent to sales to have a new lead created. The only possible actions that I have are Create Case and Bounce Handling. How to make my own possible actions?????

Really? No one knows how to create a new action to automatically create a lead from an inbound email?

Anybody out there? How about is there anyone who who also like this feature but is in the same ignorant state that I am in?

We've got the same requirements here. There is a community tools which seem to claim to be able to do this:

However, since were also using the inbound-to-case function, we are most likely not going to use this.

Instead, we are going to add a new action in the dom_mailbox_type (ie. Create Lead), and do some custom php code to use this target for auto lead creation (ie. if there isnt any contact or lead with the senders email address).
