    Question inbound email disappears

    complete Sugar noob here, so bear with me.

    Most current stable install.

    I have just tried setting up my first email account - pop3

    All went well, sends email with no problem.

    However when I try to recieve (manually) I see it downlaoding the 2 test emails I sent. For a split second they appear in the inbox but then instantly disappear.

    I am sure I have missed something basic in setting this up.

    Any guidence to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated

    How does your emial window look like?
    In some installations the email-list-window has height of zero!
    (See attached image)
    In that case you must rezise the window by tiring its lower border down.

    Thank you for you response.

    no, I can see both panes plainly.

    I click on check email - it says one moment please then I see it download the email the screen flashes like a postback and the message is gone.

    Yes, I have the same thing. I can however, see that there is a message in the inbox but I can see nothing. All I can offer is commiserations as I don't have an answer!

    Hope this helps some of you

    Internet explorer 8 is a total mess with the email display - sorting doesn't work and emails don't display.

    Installed firefox and had no more problems.

    I think I figured it out. Looks like for me the problem was caused by a misconfigured DNS server. After I fixed my DNS server issues all emails started showing up in Sugar immediately after clicking the Check Mail button. Go to this site to test your DNS settings for your domain, fix all the issues and try checking your email in sugar. Here is the site:
