Hi.

Very new to sugar so bare with me pleae.

I have searched the forums but noone seems to be having the same issue as me.

I am trying to setup inbound email monitoring and assume that this is handled by the cron.php to scoop emails up.

I have added the appropriate cron job to our crontab in Plesk and it seems to be firing.

The issue I have is that

1. Cron is run per user on our VPS and therefore Cron is not being run by Apache
2. PID.php seems to be restricted to read/write by owner only which is Apache
3. I have requested that our VPS manager adds the cron.php to the crontab for user Apache however Scheduler in Sugar is not reporting this event to ever been run.

I have just asked the VPS manager gives my Cron account r/w access to cron.php (that way it is run as my cronuser in plesk)

Will this fix this?
