Hello,
I am new to SugarCRM, and I am having an issue with getting a successful Inbound Email Settings test. I've tried everything. I've contacted our hosting company and they say that it is my mail server that is causing the issue. The error that I am getting is "Test Settings Login aborted Please check your settings and try again."
I've checked my settings and everything is correct. I even tested my settings within Outlook Express and that works. The hosting company is basically saying that there is nothing that they can do for me, and the I should contact my email hosting company.
Can someone please explain how the application tests the inbound email settings? I'm sure of course that tests the connection, but does it testing anything else?
Please help, my manager is really wanting to use this application and if I can't get the email piece to work, then we will not be able to go any further than we already are.
