Inbound Email Unable to set up

I want to preface this post by saying that I am not a programmer.

That said, when I try to set up my inbound email to my open source version of Sugar, I get this Warning message before I even begin, " Inbound Email cannot function without the IMAP c-client libraries enabled/compiled with the PHP module. Please contact your administrator to resolve this issue."

Any help is greatly appreciated.

add the php-imap package
login as root, or sudo and use rpm, yum, or up2date
or ask your admin to add it
