However, this is in fact a part that we have solved (we ARE able to create a lead/case from inbound email, using workflow action that creates a new lead/case when a new mail arrives). It might be a new capability of version 5, I can't say for sure, but it certainly works for us.
This is fine, and we can populate the fields of the new lead. The problem is that we couldn't find a way to populate the fields in the new lead using the information in the email.
Even just putting the entire email in one of the fields will be fine at this point. We're looking for a magic variable we can put in the new lead/case created that will be the subject line/email body/senders email.
Any pointers will be appreciated.
