    Default Inbound Email Workflow

We have successfully built a workflow to process incoming emails and create a case from them.
But how can we include the email contents in the case information?
it is not clear how to access fields like subject, from and mail body in the workflow definition. Is that possible to do?

    Hi Angel,

Thanks for your reply, but unless I'm missing something the thread you linked to says that it's *impossible* to create a lead/case out of inbound email. However, this is in fact a part that we have solved (we ARE able to create a lead/case from inbound email, using workflow action that creates a new lead/case when a new mail arrives). It might be a new capability of version 5, I can't say for sure, but it certainly works for us.

This is fine, and we can populate the fields of the new lead. The problem is that we couldn't find a way to populate the fields in the new lead using the information in the email.
Even just putting the entire email in one of the fields will be fine at this point. We're looking for a magic variable we can put in the new lead/case created that will be the subject line/email body/senders email.

    Any pointers will be appreciated.

I believe this is the reason why building a case from an e-mail is not a feature.

Can you advise the workflow method how you did this.. and what version are you using.
Also i believe in version 5.1 this is now a feature..
    thanks
