    Default Inbound emails blank

I have got SugarCRM OS version up and running and configured it so I can access our MS Exchange server using POP3.
I am able to go to my Inbox (in Sugar) and 'cehck mail' which downloads all the messages from exchange, however these messages have nothing in them, they are all blank.
There is no subject, body, to/from address etc.

I tried accessing the same POP server using Eudora and everything came down properly - indicating that the problem is at the sugar end.

I tried sending an email from Sugar (using sendmail). I can see the message in Outlook no problem and after a long time waiting while sugar checks the POP server the message appears but with nothing in it (no subject, sontent etc).

    What have I missed?

    System details;
    SugarCRM Version 4.5.0d (Build 1168)
    Gentoo (Linux)

    Thanks in advance,

    Craig

has no one else experienced the issue above?

I am able to send emails from Sugar - these show up properly in the 'sent emails' folder, but don't come in properly when I 're-check' the POP server (which I sent the email to).

The only other issue I can think of is that we are using PHP 5.1.6-r4 although I fail to see how this would affect reading data from a POP server.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

OK, so I did a little more 'digging' around.

In my Sugar Inbox, a reference to each email is shown but there is no subject no anything in the body of the email.
However when I go to a particular contact, all the emails associated with that contact (ie in the 'from' address) are listed in the history with the correect subject line and the body of the message.

So the question remains, why don't the messages display correctly in the Inbox?

I'm getting some inbound emails blank. Just the body is blank. I have to go to a different email client to read the text. Others come in as white text on white background. When I click and drag to highlight the area the text is visible. If I click the text it turns blue and stays that way.

I haven't been able to determine why some emails are blank and others not.

Can you look into the database and see what is stored in the emails table? Each record should be a retrieved email from your mail server.
