Default Inbound Mail with Lotus Notes account

    Hi all,

i configured SugarCRM email client with Lotus notes server using POP3.
after trying a lot of ways, my SugarCRM email module can now see my
emails in my Lotus Notes inbox.
but the problem is, when i view an email and try to import/attach it
to a Contact/Account/etc. in SugarCRM, it fails and prompts an error:
Message No 1, Status: Import Failed because either the message is
already imported or deleted from server.

but in reality, the email has never been imported or deleted in my Lotus Notes inbox.

last time, i also configured SugarCRM with gmail server using IMAP,
    referring to this thread: http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35796
and it can successfully import/attach an email to Contacts/Accounts/etc.
    in SugarCRM.

can you please advise what could be the reason of the error in importing emails?
or has someone had this experience in setting up with Lotus Notes server?
    please help.

    thank you very much.

im using SugarCRM Pro 5.2.0a on LAMP environment.

I am having a similar problem

    SUGAR Professional
    Version 5.2.0e (Build 5626)
    LAMP server
accessing IMAP account on Zimbra email server
The email account is also accessed directly using Outlook (to ZImbra server) by several people as it is a shared group email.

    1) goto Email TAB
    2) click "check mail"
    3) in messages list click a message
    4) in preview pane get several of the fields eg from saying "null",
    From: null
Subject: Either message Removed from Server or moved to a different folder
    Date Received:
    To: null

The other odd thing is that it shows all the IMAP sub folders correctly but lists hundreds of emails in the Inbox even though if I access the email server directly via Outlook or ZImbra webmail is shows nothing in the Inbox?

    Q. Can SUGAR handle accessing an IMPA account that is also accessed by other email clients?

ok, i've tried setting up a Group Email Account and associate it with a Group Folder.
i also run the scheduled job "Check Inbound Mailboxes".
but still it doesn't solve my problems because NOT ALL the emails
are imported from my Lotus Notes inbox.
(some emails are missing, some doesn't have contents)

is this a bug in SugarCRM Email module?
    any help?

i now use IMAP protocol and it seems to give what our client requires.
this is only for demo purposes with our client.
