    Default Incomplete import?

    Hi,

I have just installed the SugarCRM 5 (FastStack) succesfully and right now I am having a problem importing a CSV file into Sugar leads.

I have about 1000 customer leads in CSV file but when I imported it, Sugar only took the first 17 leads.

    Anybody knows whats going on?

    Thanks.

    hc.

If you are joining to accounts that are already in there Sugar has issues with accounts that contain apostrophes. At least that was the issue for some of us.

Also check that date types are correct. Do this by hand-entering a record and then use MySQL (presuming that's your database) and inspect the date type format.

Do not try to import 1000 records in one step.
Divide it into 4 packages of 250 records.
There is a timeout issue of sugar.

    Regards.
