    Default An incredibly obvious search question

    This seems like it should be incredibly straightforward, but I can't figure it out. How can I use AND searches? Basically, if I want to search for someone in, say, the Energy industry with a type of Active, when I select both in the Advanced search field, I get results containing all who are either in the Energy industry or type Active (an OR function), rather than the subset of just those who match both the Energy industry criteria AND the Active type criteria.

    So how do I go about setting up searches that will find just the subset where both criteria match for all records? And can I save this AND search for further use?

    Are you sure this is how it is working? It works as AND conditions by default. The behavior that you described just doesn't make sense. Do you have an add-ons installed?

    Nope. Just the default installation. I do have a few custom multi-select fields I added in the studio. One is category, and you can select more than one category. But that's it.

    If I select one of the categories and one of the interests, for example, I don't get just the names that match both, I get the names that match either. These are both multi-select fields, if that means anything.
