Having trouble with certain buttons not functioning

for example, I went to import a csv file into Leads using the Import Leads wizard, got through all the pages and mapped the fields, only to come to an inoperable Import button.

What could cause this?

tried that (in Firefox) didn't work, then tried it in IE, got a Javascript error

Install and enable the FIrebug extension and try again.
Let us know the javascript error reported by firebug.

I can't get that far in Firefox, the dynamic select fields don't work if, for example, I want to select a campaign to add into the imported fields.

I get that far in IE, but the plugin prescribed is for Firefox

What could be causing the issue, any ideas at all?
