insert variable value not shown in email

Hello everyone,

O/S Windows 2000
SugarCommunity Edition
Version 5.0.0a (Build 3120)

I have made a custom module housing provider.
I have added this module and its fields as dropdown list in email template.
The module name is displayed and its fields are displayed in insert variable dropdown list.
but after an email is sent the value is not replaced by field values.

i am trying to find out but found no solution, please help me.
it really urgent.
your help will be very much appericiable.

I suggest first upgrading to patch B. We fixed a lot of email bugs in that patch.

Thanks for looking at the problem.

Actually i am a developer working for somebody and the project is in mid stage , i dont' know whether they will be ready for this.

But is this problem common,is ther a solution for this?

I just finished a roll-out of 5.0 for a customer. I highly, highly suggest upgrading to patch B. There are several key bugs that are fixed in that patch around list views and other key areas in the app. I would not go live with patch A.

i have upgraded from SugarCRM Community edition Version 5.0.0a (Build 3150) to Version 5.0.0b (Build 3150).But still the problem is there.I am trying to find the solution,please help.
