Inserting images??

How do you insert an image in an email template? There's no button for that in the FCKEditor.

Wait, but that's just stupid. Even the editor of this forum has this feature, FCKeditor (which is used by sugarcrm) does have this feature, so why isn't it available? You know this alone would make me not want to purchase the software.

Any way to enable it, or do I have to go and fix it myself? That's just beyond understanding.

Hi ReeD,

Don't panic just because you are not able to send the images in the emails sent through SugarCRM. To Achieve this I played a trick around. I uploaded few images in the photobucket and then used the tag that was generated there to show that image in the email. Wow, it shows there.

Kindly let me know if you run through any issues around.

My question is: why isn't the button there when it should be? FCKeditor does have this feature.

hey people, there is a mode to upload an image. just click on the "templates" button within the emailtoolbar. there, choose a template with picture. then rightclick on the empty picture and you will see a dialog. this brings you to the upload image screen.

now my problem: i cannot upload an image or create a new folder. anybody an idea?
