    Question Install from local file issue !!! Please help !!!

    Hi

    I've just succesfully installed SugarCRm OpenSource
    Version 4.5.1d (Build 1273))
    MySQL 4.1.22
    PHP 4.3.10

    Running SugarCRM on powweb.

    CRM installed ok, but I cannot install/upload any other module. I've tried:
    - passwordreset.zip
    - JCRMTimeAndInvoice_0_9_9d.zip <- This module I want/need to install

    I have access to internet, and I can succesfully connect with CRM. I'm logged in as admin, and I go to
    -> Admin
    -> Module Loader /index.php?module=Administration&action=UpgradeWiza rd&view=module
    -> Log in to Sugar CRM
    -> Browse to 'install from local file'
    -> hit button 'browse'
    -> select the file I want to upload (c:\temp\JCRMTimeAndInvoice_0_9_9d.zip)
    -> hit 'open' (now field module has string 'c:\temp\JCRMTimeAndInvoice_0_9_9d.zip'
    -> hit 'upload'
    -> wait approx 30-45 sec
    -> Screen returns to Module Loader (/index.php?module=Administration&action=UpgradeWiza rd&view=module)

    I initially thought that this is maybe related to folder access on the server, so I've modified all folders to 777. no luck

    So just to clearify, I do get the module loader screen, I can logon, I can select the module to install, however I cannot install that module.

    For your information I've been searching the forum for this, looked for 'install module', 'module loader', 'module issue' and 'install from local file', but apperently the module 'ZuckerReports' had a similar issue, but I haven't found the solution for this either.

    Your help is more then appriciated.

    having same problem on 4.5.1e trying to install zuckerreports. any answer to this problem?

    sorry, not really much help yet, still praying ;-), that somebody??? will provide a more precised answer.

    I did find this topic on uploading another logo for Sugar CRM

    Now this is not related to our issue, but I think somehow (not had the time yet to test) that the cause for this uploading logo, is related to our issue.

    I don't get the error messages, but worth giving it a try I guess.

    i am new to this sugarcrm..i am also having the same problem i cant upload modules in 4.5.1g

    when i upload module "install from local file" i am getting a blank page ...and not getting even a error msg.

    i have changed the "upload max file size:10M " still i cant upload.

    pls somebody help me in this issue

    I believe my problem was fix by changing the path of the temp folder in the php.ini. It was set, but pointing to a non-existing directory.
