I have been trying to install SugarCRM on a Linux box that is provided by our hosting company for a small project.
During installation, I get the All-Systems-Go dialog on the initial checks, but when I get to the point where it is supposed to create the databases, it fails, claiming that I have an incompatible version of MySQL installed.
On initial detection, it discovers the correct version, 4.3.11. When it tries to create the database it fails, claiming that the version is suddenly 3.23.56. Only version 4.3.11 is installed.
I have tried with SugarCRM 4.2.0a and 4.2.0d. Both do exactly the same thing.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.![]()
