Default Installation Failure on Step 6 - PLEASE HELP!!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Hi,

Maybe someone can help. Everything goes fine until step 6, when it is creating the dbase and users. It says in the browser windows, creating dbase ... done, creating user .... done. and thats it.

The only thing I can see is a javascript error, so if I double click the little yellow triangle in IE 6 this is the message:

    Line: 11
    Char: 1
Error: 'document.GetElementbyID(...) is null or not an object.
    Code: 0
    Url: is the file url.

It does writ the config. php.

Can anyone help? I presume Javascript is client side. So I have tried with three different browsers, I have tried installing version 3.5.1 and version 4.2, same error at same place. PLease PLease PLease can someone help?

    Hello,

I can clearly confirm this Problem on a Suse 10.1 Machine (PHP 5.1, Apache 2.2, mysql).

The zend-setting mentioned in another post doesn't help.

I have reproduced the error in all combinations of sCrm 5.0b, sCrm 4.5 (current stable), Firefox 2.0 and Internet Explorer 7 ( each time completely clearing the sCrm directory)

The apache error Log showed that the allowed memory problem occurred.

I will try again and strongly suggest not letting the user continue the installation without increasing allowed memory in php.
