    Default Installation on Linux

I am new to Linux some what. I have Fedora and SuSE installed, how do I install SubarCRM on Linux. I thought that when you installed both flavors that apache, php, and mysql were installed, at least that is what I asked for on Fedora. SuSE does a full installation.

When I type localhost I get an error message regarding the firewall. Also how do I use the install.php?

I currently have it installed on windows xp using apache, php and mysql.

    Thanks Dee

    Default Re: Installation on Linux

    hi,

Fedora core has a security soft named sellinux. Look at this link to learn how to work arround sellinx.
    link: http://fedora.redhat.com/docs/selinux-faq/
Once you passed selinux you just print the IP addr or localhost or hostname at your browser URL and the install.php will run automaticly.
    Good luck
