Integer fields - Listview vs. detailview

This one is almost too weird for words.

I've got several auto-calculation fields in opportunities that do simple multipliers of integer and decimal fields.
Other than the annoying process of having to save them twice to have the calculated amounts show up in listview, they work just fine. Today I found something very odd...200,000 x 6.00 = 1,200,000.00 per the detailview...but in the listview I see 1.20. Sames story with 200,000 x 7.00 (Shows as 1.40 in listview).

NOW, multiplying 200,000 by 5 or 8 or 9 shows the same in detailview and listview. Any number other than 200,000 x 6 or 7 seems to work fine as well. For some reason, the only combinations that don't work (that I can identify) are 200,000 and either 6.00 or 7.00....WTF?

I don't even know where to BEGIN to troubleshoot something like this. I did a repair & rebuild without any effect. Any ideas???

I should also point out that 1.20 or 1.40 are actually showing up in the SQL database, not just the listview...although the detail view correctly shows 1,200,000 or 1,400,000, respectively.

Would LOVE some help on this one...just too weird for words!

a little more research...

okay, this seems to be happening with several combinations that equal 1.2 million or 1.4 million or factors thereof (2.4 million or 2.8 million, 4.8 or 5.6 million) however, 3.6 million and 4.2 million work fine (multiplying by 3)...

its giving me a headache just to think about...WHA?
