I have been using SugarCRM for over a year now and on the same server we have a couple other programs I have written for our company to help us. For example one is a timeclock program, another is a phnoe database for all our incoming and outgoing calls and I have set up a system to use a cookie based login system where they can have one login screen and then go to the different sections. I would like to use the user table from sugar to validate the usernames and passwords but I am not sure how it encrypts the data. If I could get some help on how to decrypt or encrypt data in perl or an explanation in php so I could convert it to perl I would appreciate it.
