Interesting Occurence!!!!

I have Sugar installed on my laptop, IIS5.1, PHP 5.2 pointing to a Win2003 Server with MSSQL 2005.

The pages work awesome, except for curl won't enable.

I decided to move the pages from my laptop to the same server the database is on and I can work through the install until Sugar wants to install and configure the database.
At this point the install just spins and spins and spins then finally times out.

If I try to access the pages on the server with http://servername:81 and I can't get to the index.php page, again the web browser will spin and spin and spin until it eventually times out.

Why can I go through the install but I can't use the pages themselves?

Any enlightenment will be appreciated.

How are you trying to enable curl? I have posted about not being able to change the php.ini file and having issues. The only way I could get stuff enabled for the php was by using the installer php-5.2.1-win32-installer.msi and enabling stuff in there.

I have been able to get curl enabled on both of the Windows 2003 servers that I have installed sugar and mssql 2005 on.

The oddity that needs help is the fact that the pages time out when I try to use them.

I have adjusted the time out on the php script, I have adjusted the web site time in IIS. I have logged into MSSQL with the sugar admin account and sql authentication from both the server and a remote machine.

Everything seems to be pointing to a working copy of a OS test bed.

But it doesn't work. I get blank pages, not even any html source.

sorry. I missed the meaning before. What does the log file show when you put it to debug?

I threw chance to the wind and decided to copy the php.ini from my working server to the server I am using for a test bed.

I actually am getting further, but now I can't get the thing to connect.

I have added the user to the database, given the user dbo access and I still can't connect.

I have tried to mirror the two servers as much as possible so when I test something and it works, I can just drop it into the live server and not chance any down time.
