Internal Server Error - Importing Email

Dear Sugar,

After some serious debugging I have an issue I am unable to resolve. I can not import emails into sugarCRM. When I attempt an import, the tool processes the request for over a minute. It then returns with an "Internal Server Error".

I am using SugarCRM 5.2.0k on SME-Server V7.4 (running Linux) with PHP 5.2.8, MySQL 4.1.22

this might be happen bcoz of PHP version...
Try PHP 5.2.1 or PHP 5.2.2

You versions are supported

This is usually a server error ...

But ... check your apache logs and the sugar.log file to see what errors are being thrown at that level

the Sugar log file is massive. Before I run the test I delete the diagnostics file. When I look at the Sugar log file after running the test it is still massive, dating back to mid November. I'm not sure how to clear it. Never the less, there is no particular indication of this error in the sugar log file.

Where do I find the apache log file?

I found the apache log file.

The error is:

(date) [error] (address of my little computer) Premature end of script headers: php-cgi, referer (address of sugarCRM tool/index.php?module=Emails&action=index

Not many clues in this . . .
