I'm not particulalry technical so I think there could be a pretty straightforward fix for this issue.

I have set up a backup folder with wrte permissions, but when I try to run a backup from the Admin panel in 4.5.1e to this folder it producese an internal server error 500.

A file seems to have been created in the backup folder but it has no extension. I have tried downloading this file renaming it with a .zip extension I'm told the file is corrupt.

Any ideas and help on this would be very much appreciated
