    Default IP address query

I gave up with my Mac install and gone and installed onto my PC, all works fine, however I took the default options when installing regarding the IP address - is this stored on Sugar or my PC?

Sorry if this is a stupid question

When it asked for ports I entered a couple of ports as the default ones werent available, and then it said install to the IP address - how can I tell where any of the data is stored.

I installed the Bitrock Windows Installer version for windows from the Sugar website as it seemed to be the easiest option as it had all of the software needed.

Only I dont want to be paying someone to host the crm, I was hoping to try, and I mean try! to set it up so that I could access it from my mac on a shared basis, or somehow connect to it remotely.

Any ideas on if I can do this, well I know it can be done, but its how difficult that will be for a very not technie person!

    An help much apprecaited

Do you know what is installed on the PC that is using the default ports? Which ports were not free, http (80), mysql(3306)...?

Hi sorry, i'd lost access to my user name so couldnt see any reponses.

I've had to use port 78 instead of 80, port 4433/4430 instead of 443 and how do I find out about the other ports

also dont know if this is related but would this mean I coudnt access it outside of my WIFI network, can access it around the WIFI network at home, but cant gain access from outside.

I have a router firewall and Mcafee, but even if I open the relevant port it still wont work via mcafee

    any ideas
