    hi sangs,

Of course, you'll want to make sure you are including all of the opportunities required fields.

Once that is confirmed, you must make sure that the date and time formats in the My Accounts settings match the database format. The mySQL date format is: yyyy-mm-dd and time format is military with a colon: 23:00.

Then, you must make sure that the date format in your spreadsheet matches that format as well. If you are using a csv file, don’t close out the spreadsheet before you import because csv discards formatting when it’s closed.
    Hope this helps!

I've confirmed that all the required fields are being imported. I've tried every date and date/time format including custom made ones to match some found on this forum. No luck. I've edited code from advice on some of the threads; still no luck. Verified, re-verified by opening the csv file in notepad that the date formats match that found in my profile and that found in the database (which are the same). Is there any way to get this completed? I have over 700 opportunities I need to import and I can't import a CSV with a single opportunity on it.

I need to get this complete as soon as possible. Are there any consultants willing to work with me?

I have the same issue recently. But I've solved it, here's suggestion:
The close date must be: MM/DD/YYYY, IE:04/02/2008

Every value must use quotation marks, IE:
    "Opportunity Name","Account Name","Close Date","Stage","Amount"
    "some name","some account","04/02/2008","Prospecting","100"

The sales_stage value must be one of the following:
    Prospecting
    Qualification
    Needs Analysis
    Value Proposition
    Id. Decision Makers
    Perception Analysis
    Proposal/Price Quote
    Negotiation/Review
    Closed Won
    Closed Lost

Hope that works. If it still doesn't work, try to export one of the existing opportunities and import it.
