Default Issues: Gamil, Uploadinf Docs, And Support!

    Sugar Version: 4.5.1a (Build 1209)
Sugar Edition: SugarSuite (SUGAR OPEN SOURCE)
    Category: Issues
Operating System: Fedora Core 4 2.6.17-1.2141_FC4
    PHP Version: 5.2.1
Database: MySQL Ver 14.7 Distrib 4.1.20
    Web Server: httpd-2.0.54-10.3

During the setup of a new user I can not get sugar to connect to the gmail server. Sugar doesn't seem to support SSL or I don't see an option for SSL.

I've read that you can upload documents, proposals and other types of files however I can't find any type of uploading function.

Finally, I'm getting (The server is currently unavailable (1), SugarCRM version is not currently supported (101)) an error when I try to connect to sugarcrm.com from the Module Loader or Update Wizard.

    Thanks
    Daniel

Admin >> InboundEmail >> SELECT box name >> Edit >> check SSL.

There isn't a SSL option for outbound email! why? bad programming/planning?

Interfacing with Gmail is bug that we hit during our eval period late last year - we abandoned using Gmail as our inbound or outbound mail source.

Upload documents is straightforward on Documents tab, Create Document button, Create means upload a document and tell the system now to store it and what access to provide for it.

It means create the document within the Sugar document repository and could be labeled upload as well. Just think Create Document means upload document.
