Issues Sending Emails

Hi,

I have configured gmail to sugar and inbox is properly populated with the mails from gmail account. However, sending emails from sugar is throwing up error :

Try using your FULL email address as your 'username' . Your incoming mail server should be: imap.gmail.com and outgoing mail server: smtp.gmail.com(no other characters before). Also try alternate server ports 465 and 587. Also if SugarCRM does not support SMTP authentication you wont be able to send mail from SugarCRM using a gmail address. It should work on POP though. Hope this helps..

Nothing works As usual, am able to receive mails but sending is still an issue... can you explain
