Hi,

I would like to create a portal or website
the allows users to create their own instance of sugarCRM on our servers
so the user can go on and register
so the link will be something like clientCRM.sugarcrm.co.za

so can you please give me any idea how to achieve this ?

You could after the user confirm the sugar instance creation request, copy the entire sugar application folder with a new name (the name to your customer) and also create a new database for him. You also have to programatically edit the file config.php to point for the new database.

You also could dinamically reset the admin password, and in teh end of the creation process send a mail to your customer with the application url and the admin username and password.

I need one central database on my server and instance can use that database only..

So how to do this ?

Means all new instance should access same database on main server

Please guide me how to do that
