J Sync has damaged my sugar... :(

Hi, I tried to install J Sync Module. It asked for the root password and then came up with a forbidden error.>

You don't have permission to access /sugarcrm/cache/upload/upgrades/temp/13D.tmp/scripts/popup.php on this server

So I tried to uninstall it, however if it's installed or not if i go into contacts and try to add a contact I get a error 500.

Please advise, I haven't gone too far with the setup except I have done loads of customisations in the accounts module I would like to save these and reload. I have tried uninstalling J sync however this doesn't seem to have been uninstalled as I can see a "sync to outlook" checkbox.

I am using SugarCE 5.5.1RC2 as a full windows installer.

Make sure that your permissions are correctly set on the cache folder, files and subdirectories. Find the permissions here and use either chmod or a tool like filezilla to change them.

And learn the lesson:

NEVER - upgrade SugarCRM, install a patch a do an upgrade without first taking a backup of the application and data.
