Javascript broken in Studio?

Hi all, my first post here.
Everything's working quite fine with my Sugar CE 6.0.1 (Build 4143). Everything but the editor, which seems to have the drag and drop feature disabled when editing page layouts. There's just no response when dragging or droping. I had the same results with Firefox and Chrome. This thread suggests to upload a new javascript.zip. Should I try this? Where can I find this file?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The likely culprit here is either a problem with your permissions, which has a tendency to affect javascript functionality, or you are using an unsupported version of PHP, but it is difficult to say without any further details about your environment/install.

I am system administrator. I use shared hosting with a LAMP stack (justhost.com) . PHP version is 5.2.14. Apache version is 2.2.16.

I have two installs in different subdomains. In both I am system administrator and both show the same problem.

Any ideas?

Per my previous comment, this is often times the result of a problem with the version of PHP or permissions.

In your case, you are using a version of PHP that is incompatible with your version of Sugar. That is likely the source of your problem or at least part of it.

My hosting provider just confirmed that changing PHP version 5.2.8 (supported by Sugar 6.0.1) will be possible in "a few weeks". I‘ll get back to the thread then...

No studio in the meantime for me then.

De nada. Que mala onda que se van a tardar tanto tiempo.

Le sugiero que instale la version 6.1 de Sugar a la par de la version que ya tiene y solo para hacer pruebas. Esa version de Sugar si es compatible con PHP 5.2.14 y le serviria para confirmar que no hay ningun otro problema. Igual, podria actualizar la version que necesita a 6.1 despues de confirmar que todo esta bien.

Hola,
Acabo de instalar 6.1.0RC1. En un principio tuve el mismo problema pero parece ser relacionado con un language pack. Es esto posible? El editor funciona ahora bien si utilizo Sugar en Inglés, pero falla si lo uso en español...
Por lo menos ya lo puedo utilizar.

Voy a probar con otro language pack para ver si funciona.

Puede ser. En el pasado, otros usuarios han reportado unos problemas guardando informacion de las cuentas de email cuando usaban el paquete de idioma. Podria ser algo similar.
