Just Installed SugarCRM.. Little Confused!

I was suggested I use this over some other options like vtiger.. I dont know how exactly this works but since its hard for me to manage clients I was told a CRM would be good for me. I run a Web Design company so im not too sure what would be the best way to set SugarCRM.. If possible I would like to tie my contact forms to sugarCRM. Is there any examples of how SugarCRM is used so I can get a better feel of the features and what it can do?

I'm using the Community Edition and im not sure if I need the full version for what I need to do.. but how is vtiger compared to the Community Edition of SugarCRM? I know this is a SugarCRM but thought i would ask
