    Default Keep Apache Running

I am running Apache web server from a local computer to host the sugar crm database. Does Apache automatically shut off after a certain period of time because everytime I come in from the night it is shut down. Is this my computer or does Apache have an auto shutdown feature with no activity?

    Thanks!

Apache should not shut down automatically ... did you download a LAMP/WAMP stack?

If the machine you're running Apache on is being rebooted/shut down and Apache is not configured as a service, then that might explain it.

What operating system are you running apache on?

I am running apache on windows xp and have downloaded FastStack Windows Installer for 5.2.0k with SQL Server. I'm pretty sure I checked yes to making Apache a service but how can I make sure of this?

    Thanks!
