Keeping track of which targets have been called

Hi,

We have a target list that we sent a campaign letter to. Now we want one of our employees to do a follow-up call to each of the targets in the list. I was wondering if there is an easy way to keep track of which targets have been called and which ones havn't yet.

I am aware that we can create a planned call for each target and then view these from the Activities module but we have several hundreds of targets in the list so creating a call record for each target would take too long.

We will log each call we make as we work through the list, so as an alternative to the above approach is there a way to search for targets in the list that do not have a call record yet?

The bottom line is that we need some way to keep track of which targets have been called already in that specific target list.

We are using SugarCRM 6.1.4 CE. Is this functionality available out of the box or are there any plug-ins that can do what we are looking for?
