    Unhappy LAMP to WAMP

    All-
I need to move my SugarCRM from my Suse 10 server to a Windows 2000 server. Please don't ask why. But does anyone have any ideas on the best way to do this? I have my SugarCRM running on the bit-rock LAMP stack with lots of custom fields etc..., but mysqldump is not working. I have the WAMP stack up and running on the W2K server, but have yet to port it over. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,

You can download a 30 day trial of Navicat and use that on a workstation to backup the SuSE database - then export that backup to an SQL batch file to run on the new box (which you can do via Navicat too). Alternatively, there are other migration tools in Navicat you can use to dump one database straight from one machine to another.

thanks Steve, I will give that a try. Once I get the .SQL file from the backup, how do I get that into SugarCRM?
