Language string failed to load: tls

I did a search on the problem, but it seems everyone else is using Gmail -- I am not.

I've set up email configuration, and tried a test email.

Nothing arrives at the destination address, and the error message is:

[FATAL] SugarPHPMailer encountered an error: Language string failed to load: tls

I've verified server and port with the vendor thru whom we have email.

Which email server are you trying to configure?

Hi Andre,

It's a hosted Exchange service (Alteva).

Their instructions were to use:
Host: smtp.servername.com
Port: 25
Require Authentication
Use TLS Encryption

I have tried this with email provider is set to Other and to Exchange.

The error originally reported occurs when the port is 587.

When I use the default port, I get this error instead:

05/17/11 13:22:09 [35380][1][FATAL] SMTP -> ERROR: Failed to connect to server. Code: 10060 Reply: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

05/17/11 13:22:09 [35380][1][FATAL] SugarPHPMailer encountered an error: SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.
05/17/11 13:22:09 [35380][1][FATAL] SugarPHPMailer encountered an error: The outbound mail server selected for the mail account you are using is invalid. Check the settings or select a different mail server for the mail account.

I am using Sugar Community Edition 6.2, on WIn 2008 R2 using FastCGI and IIS 7.

Fixed.

I set up SMTP server in IIS, and pointed SugarCRM towards it.

Worked with another ASP.NET site and the same vendor account, so thought I'd try it. And with success.
